My son is 8 weeks old and attended the docs this week for his vaccinations. We

refused them and had to give reasons because the nurse was intrigued. The things

I told her she didn't know which was the same with the doctor and we didn't have

to sign anything as of yet!

The problem we actually have is we both work and we leave our son Alarik with

family who have kids. One of the kids has just had his Hib vaccination today

(they wouldn't listen to our warnings!) and is due his PCV tomorrow. He came out

in a facial rash today which I presume is a side-effect. Should we find somebody

else to look after our son tomorrow incase any disease is shed by the relatives'

son?

Thanks in advance

My Dr. wouldn't treat my son after we refused to sign their form.It implys the

parents at fault should the child get sick.I would also find a new sitter with

like minds so that there is no chance of passing on any illnesses.Vaxed kids do

tend to get sick more as well.Lori

Only live vaccines shed. In general, these are chicken pox and MMR. I

don't worry about it.

Hi Raaza,

ORE part 1 is a very conceptual exam, so only you would know how well prepared

you are.. How long has it been since u graduated?? Being a recent graduate

always helps..

I personally, prepared for the ORE for 2 months.. But I had graduated less than

a year before the exam and had been studying for Indian exams during that time.

In those 2 months I read master dentistry both volumes, pink and blue books,

oxford handbook of medical sciences, went through the old questions, revised my

shortcomings.. A few days before the exam i read emqs, best of fives by douglous

hammond and mcqs by kathleen fan.

Hope this helps,

All the best.. :)

Regards,

Smriti

Dear aditya, You just said that 2 month r more than enough, have u already read those books b4?how did u answer the questions related to medical problem and oral histology, physiology?what about statistics?I think naseer did read the most important things, just wanted to say that if someone follows what u did,it ll be a big gamble, may be u were lucky not to get question out of the previous feed back, nazar,I don't want to get u upset, but at the same time I don't want u to rely on luck,as the exam(type of question) might be changedSent from my BlackBerry® smartphoneFrom: Aditya Dubagunta <adityadubagunta@...>

Hi

I found it helpful but they concentrate on all human diseases and infection

control oral anatomy, oral medicine and oral surgery and radiology.

These topics which i wanted.

they don't cover restorative or endo,or prothetics or crown and bridges.
