You did good and did not go overboard on the fries..You shared and did not ate all the fries. Don't worry about it. You are doing great,.

Hi ladies. My dinner wasn't great tonight. I had a bacon lettuce andtomato sandwich with a little mayo on whole wheat toast. I also had dietsoda. The bad thing was that I had some french fries that I shared with afriend. She got the order and there were so many in there that she sharedwith me so I ate some. What was "bad" about this meal? It keep looking at the amounts and it seems quite reasonable to me. Was it because you had set in your mind certain foods and ate something more?

I think it's important to know why we react sometimes to the "food tapes" that play in our heads about what is good or bad. I know for me, sometimes I find that I have so many "rules" playing their little tune in my head that I don't eat enough.

BTW, I love BLT's. One of my favourites!

I agree you cant deprive yourself of the things you want but go within moderation. Sharing a small fry with a friend is a great idea. 11 French fries are a serving just remember that not give yourself a pat on the back and smile....

After your mention of a BLT yesterday, I was very pleased with my BLT salad last night. It really hit the spot. My grandsons wanted bacon for dinner, so I made a salad for myself with tomato and bacon and Mayo.

I guess because I struggle to get my fat high, it seems so different to hear others try to get it low. I had three tablespoons of fat and finally made my fat goal for the day!

Hi Ellison. The two things that I was thinking were bad were the mayo on the sandwich, and the french fries. It tasted good going down though and will work it off tomorrow.
