Guest guest
I actually rode the spin bike for 11 minutes today and did 6 ½ of them standing!! That is a huge accomplishment. J When you stand on the spend bike it is like running without the impact. I can’t believe I actually ran, fast too, for 6 ½ minutes! Now I didn’t stand for six minutes consecutively but did “run” for 2 ½ minutes which is the longest I have ever gone without sitting. If it didn’t KILL my feet after 10 minutes I think I would spin for 20 minutes each gym visit. So maybe the more weight I get off the easier it will be on my feet! Don't forget your knees. >So maybe the more weight I get off the easier it will be on my feet! It's not just the pressure but the friction that hurt your feet when you do that. My son learned this the hard way when he tried use our exercycle in his stocking feet and wound up with blister on the bottoms of both feet. He never did *that* again. Guest guest
Spinning is a huge challenge for me and I love it. It doesn’t seem to bother my knees just because the motion is so smooth I guess. I can definitely see how you could get blisters though if you didn’t keep your feet in the little stirrup things.
