Hello dear

I hope you doing find I hate ticks as well I wonder why you had so many on you

me I would have freaked I hat bugs you know the kind of person that screams

there head off at a spider well sad to say that is me it was nice to see that

you seem to be doing fine I have not written an a long wile and I hope you not

mad at me for it I have been either sick or in the hospital but I promised the list

start making more email to people out there that kneed then as well as to all

me wonderful friends and to you as well since you are my hero you are such a courage

person and a loving person the world was blest when you were put on this earth I

hope things keep going well for you as well cues it seems to me from what I have

been reading things have been not bad at all and that you have been happy and

well lately I will pray it will stay that way thank you for being one of my few

friends and for being your self cues you are a very special person in my life

you give it meaning just with your words you and with the smile I can see

in all your writings talk care you admirer

We made

it home, got to the house and I got out and went all around it and in

it showing and Patti everything and what room was mine things like

that, when I feel something under my shirt on my back so I got it off me and

it was a tick and I joked around how it was the first tick of the new house.

Well, then I felt another and another and another then said OMG DO NOT

MOVE!!!!!! once he started counting I had 37+ on me talk about

icky!!!!!!!!!!!!! only had 5 and Patti only had 4!!!! Why do they like

me!!! The feeling is NOT mutual!!!!!!! (SP?) Poor Flint (dog) had 15 on him

two bit and 6 bit me one just a little while ago here in the motel I

guess they are still in my clothes and on the dog!! We bombed the house and

did the yard and then on Monday we are calling someone to come out and

kill them all!!!!!!!!! It is great to be here and Nana will be back with us

tomorrow she wanted to stay another day and shop she is having fun without me

we have had too much one on one time together!!! Haven't really been apart

for more then a week since my surgery and most of the times I was away I was

in the hospital or with family. This time to herself has been wonderful I'm

really glad she is getting a chance to do this! Well, it is 3:29 and I should

get to bed! Take care and I'll talk to you later.

Ewww!!!!

I got a tick on my temple about a year ago, and got real sick from

it, I cant imagine having 37!!!

Maybe Australian ticks are nastier than yours?? I am not sure, though

I think that we can get nasty things from ticks that have been on a

kangaroo. Guess yours hadnt been near too many kangaroos huh?

Hope they manage to get rid of them all soon

Ok, not exactly the same, but this reminds me of the motel in Kingman

AZ that we stayed at. Cost $8 for the night (yeah, it was many moons

ago ) and we ended up sleeping in the car!

It was late when we got there and dark, so we were bringing stuff in

that we'd need overnight and in the morning, like the ice chest,

clothes, etc. I went to use the bathroom and there were BUGS all over

it! Went into the main part of the room to tell Mother and Mylaine

(sister) was standing in the doorway with the ice chest and she had a

COCKROACH on her head!! lol Mother said we were *not* sleeping there

and since it was so late and she was too tired, we'd just sleep in

the car. We laughed for hours in the car about spending $8 to sleep

in the car...

Jessi, I am sorry to hear that you have got pink eye again. Sorry that I am not really sure what it is....Can you explain to me? Sure doesn't sound like any fun!! :-(

Boy you sure sound like you are having the same kind of week that I have had..... like everyday is "Monday"..... when it rains it pours!! :-( Don't stress yourself too much. I am keeping you in my thoughts and hoping that things soon begin to go better for you!!

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...I have pink eye AGAIN fourth time in 7 months!!!!!!! When I was around the kids all the time and would get pink eye a lot it just made sense but I'm not around ANY kids here ( :'o( wish I were though!!!!!!!!) ALWAYS my right eye!! I can't find my meds for it and can't get to the doctors until tomorrow, this means I will have to cancel my teacher coming over today AND tomorrow, and the pink eye will be worse tomorrow so it will take longer to get better AND my Aunt comes in from NV. tomorrow!!!!!!!!! This weekend looks like it may be canceled because it is going to rain and I think we were having the kids and k-9 thing outside so unless it can be moved in doors it wont happen. LOL March better be better then February and January...and December... and... well lol you get the idea! LOL Well, I have some house cleaning to do and I have to make my aunts bed and fix up the rooms and all that fun stuff. Hope you are all having a good day!!! Take care and talk to you later

Hi lol it has been a wild couple of months here, compared to

other winters I've actually been VERY healthy usually i'm sick all

winter, but i'm also usually around little ones all winter too so

what ever they have i end up getting. Since moving I've not been

around any kids and i'm on home bound schooling so i don't catch

things from kids at school. I probably got pink eye from the shopping

carts at the store or something like that. I get it a lot they aren't

sure why i get it so often maybe at some point. They haven't done too

many tests on my eyes but that is kind of my fault because i don't

like them messing with my eyes. My eye sight isn't bad but isn't all

that great either. Here is a bit of info on Pink Eye for you. Hope

your day improves!!!

CONJUNCTIVITIS (Pink Eye)

What is Conjunctivitis?

Conjunctivitis, better known as Pink Eye, is an infection of the

inside of your eyelid. It is usually caused by allergies, bacteria,

viruses, or chemicals.

What are the signs and symptoms?

Red, irritated eye.

Some burning and/or scratchy feeling.

There may be a purulent (pus) or a mucous type discharge.

How is it treated?

It depends on what caused the Pink Eye. It may or may not need

medication for treatment. If medication is given, follow the

directions on the label.

What else do I need to know?

To prevent the spread of the infection:

Wash hands throughly

Before you use the medicine in your eyes.

After using the medicine in your eyes.

Everytime you touch your eyes or face.

Wash any clothing touched by infected eyes.

Clothes

Towels

Pillowcases

Do not share make-up. If the infection is caused by bacteria or a

virus you must throw away your used make-up and buy new make-up.

Do not touch the infected eye because the infection will spread to

the good eye. IMPORTANT!!!

I've heard that you can get pinkeye from cats...not sure if that is true or not...but I don't have any cats, and still get it pretty frequently. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...frequent handwashing will ward off nasty pinkeye buggies....but then again, who can wash their hands all day long??? Just be careful when rubbing your eyes (myself...I have a huge problem with this) so I guess I had better follow my own advice, huh?
