I noticed gas from the very first day and now I'm having some diarrhea. Will this pass, or should I cut back or discontinue the CoQ-10?? I'm taking 100mg. I've been taking it for 20 years and never had a problem. Neither have any of my friends. Maybe you're sensitive to one of the additives. Guest guest
It says it's Coenzyme Q10 100mg (Ubiquinone) naturally fermented and under other ingredients it lists rice flour, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate. Could any of them be causing the problem? > > > Has anyone who takes/has taken CoQ-10 experienced any GI problems with it? I noticed gas from the very first day and now I'm having some diarrhea. Guest guest
I'd try another brand and see if you get the same reaction. If you do it may mean a certain gut bacteria us utilizing the coenzyme Q10 or other could be a sign you need bile acids, enzymes or betaine HCL before taking it. Coenzyme Q10 is fat soluble so best taken with some fat.

Could any of them be causing the problem? If you're sensitive to them, of course. I don't take capsules. I only use softgels.
