Guest guest
Estrogen helps foster gluthatione http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10622232 E levels go down postmenopause, and this could diminish glutathione levels as well. Increased E via exogenous hormones from HRT or BPC, and withdrawal from them in turn, could have effects on glutathione. Estrogen is funny stuff. On the one hand it helps keep glutathione up/normal, and aids in detox in this way. On the other hand it seems to slow down some liver and gallbladder functions, and can be a culprit in developing chemical sensitivities (at higher amounts, or exogenously as E med). E is also paradoxical in that it can have some inflammatory and also some anti-inflammatory properties. The inflammatory properties are balanced with P and T, both of which are very anti-inflammatory.
