If you want to do that test you might contact the lab directly and see what their recommendation is regarding acyclovir: info@... Testing for that still hasn't " settled down " , and there are no official recommendations for treatment even if you do get a positive test result. I'd go ahead with the acyclovir and see how that goes for you, and wait 1-2 years before testing for XMRV (at which time some of the uncertainty around the testing may have sorted itself out). Just MHO, of course!
