Guest guest
Rosie, I took DMG in the earliest years of ME, before any diagnosis or my total collapse. It was recommended by my acupuncurist.I really liked it and took it for a couple of years at least. The only thing I remember seems to be energy and just feeling better. ( I was clueless about ME/CFS...had no idea what systems were injured). I don't know why I stopped or have not re-visited. Just too many other things going on and taking I guess. Seeing article, I want to try again, but it's all so complicated now.( TC, Katrina > > Hello all, > Just pasting this from the UK What Doctors Don't Tell You website - > precis of bumpf from the Townsend Newsletter. > Apologies if this has recently been covered on this group, but just > wondering if anyone had used this compund alone (as opposed to being > part of a wider methylation protocol - Yasko/Rich's etc) and had any > positive response for ME? > Rosie > > Autism: Amino acid DMG helps in 42 per cent of cases > 27 March 2008 > Children with autism can be helped by taking the amino acid DMG > (dimethylglycine), a major new study has confirmed. Guest guest
Hi Katrina, Thanks for that - you're the first person I've heard who has just used it alone. I thought the autism article interesting enough to consider this at some juncture. Glad it helped you in the past. Please do keep me posted on it if you do return to it in the future.
