Shingles remedies?

My husband has developed shingles and they are on his face, starting at

the bridge of his nose and going up the forehead and on his scalp. I

have him taking Vitamin C, B complex vitamins and Lysine. In my

searches online, I do see that there is a homeopathic remedy, but it

says it works best for shingles that are on the trunk. Anything else

out there that he can use to help with the pain and severity?

Hi Kristie,

My neighbor also had a shingles outbreak on her face; very painful she said.

She used Transfer Factor after all the allopathic recommendations were followed

and finally saw improvements after a few weeks of use. I checked this out with

my autistic son's Homeopath to make sure it wasn't suppressive and she gave it

clearance.

In the description of the different effects TF can have on the immune system,

the word suppression is used, but not in the way we have discussed suppression

as being a bad thing. Modulation seems more like what they are describing. Here

Hi Kristie,

Shingles is a sign of immune system problems (many possible contributing

factors)

And it is a a sign of a chronic situation. This needs to be seen by a

homeopath who can look at the whole picture and find the right remedy.

All of you should only be treating minor acutes and first aid with

remedies. The rest really requires the expertise of a homeopath.

There are many remedies that could be the right one.

The right remedy will cure!

Also acupuncture with a high quality acupuncturist will cure. My father

was cured by my acupuncturist in the 80's after 6 months or so suffering

and refusing to go to the acupuncturist as he thought it was of the devil.

;-( He was cured immediately once he went.

Good luck to him as it is very painful I know.
