Guest guest
Hello, ! You can travel anywhere in Western Europe without being vaccinated. I took my 13 year old son to France last year. Check with www.who.org to be sure. " When you read about traveling and vaccinations, there are plenty of recommendations for vaccinations, but very few requirements " . Those are the words of Dr. Mendelsohn. He was fond of saying that his unvaccinated grandchildren had traveled everywhere, even on New York subways. When people would press him further and ask about very bad areas of the globe, he said he wondered why anyone would travel to a place so diseased with children...or words to that effect...Maureen --- Thode <tracythode@...> wrote: > I am wondering if anyone has any connections to > folks in Spain who might > be able to fill me in on possible mandatory > vaccination laws in Spain. > My husband might take a job there and our son, now > two, is not > vaccinated (and we want it to stay that way!) > > > > Maureen R. Guest guest
Not wishing to be argumentative here, but while you may be able to travel in Europe without being vaxed, living there is a different matter. Both France and Italy have compulsory vaccination, iirc. I don't think Spain has mandated as yet, , but you might like to ask on INP as I think there are a couple of folk there who have experience of Spanish legislation. Guest guest
That is exactly my position....it's the living there/school/etc, rather than the travelling, that is of concern.... Thanks Sue, I will ask on INP :-) mum2mishka wrote: > > Not wishing to be argumentative here, but while you may be able to > travel in > Europe without being vaxed, living there is a different matter. Guest guest
, write to info@..., it's the contact for the antivax group in Spain. I'm not sure if they speak English, but I'm sure that if they don't, they'll find someone who can translate your query. hth, --- Thode <tracythode@...> wrote: > That is exactly my position....it's the living > there/school/etc, rather > than the travelling, that is of concern.... > > Thanks Sue, I will ask on INP :-) > > > > mum2mishka wrote: > > > > Not wishing to be argumentative here, but while > you may be able to > > travel in > > Europe without being vaxed, living there is a > different matter. Just France and possibly Italy (although there was a lawsuit and I think Italy has changed). But http://www.vacunacionlibre.org/ would be the best source Sheri Nakken listowner
