I don't think homeopaths do any of what you mention unless they are also an

MD.

And yes Prince and the queen both use homeopathy.

another homeopathic questions

Sorry this is again off topic. I know it is another homeopathic question.

Does a homeopathic doctor take xrays? Are they trained to touch and prod

like medical doctors? Or do they just talk and make up remedies? I

understand they do not preform surgeries.Sorr

I have also heard that Prince and his family go to a homeopathic

doctor. Can anyone verify this for me?

Check with your area (state/proviince) health ministry to see what the

regulations are. There are increasingly more homeopathic colleges

training again in physical exam and other medical sciences.

Most non medical homeopaths do not touch - it is illegal to touch someone

unless a medical doctor or nurse - di dyou know that?

We get all the symptoms we need from listening to the symptoms, mostly, to

find the remedy.

If people have concerns they can always see an allopath for diagnosis, or

if something seems up often a homeopath will recommend that.

But we go on the symptom picture and things can be shifted, tumors leave,

and more, if the right remedy is found. It can be helpful to know if

someone already knows, but not vital.

MD, nurse, massage therapist and other such things are allowed. And I

guess it may not be the same everywhere.

But it is illegal to do exams, and touch for many

touch in any manner whatsoever the specified body areas of any person or allow

his or her specified body areas to be touched.

In fact, in many areas, even with permission of the client, touch has been

made illegal by authorities.

Who are you seeing? Have you seen them yet?

I go even beyond classical and have even limited who I refer to even more -

those who do water potencies, which are few and far between

Have you gone yet?

As things stand now most homeopaths would rely on an MD (or ND if

allowed in your area) for tests and xrays and other imaging.

Even with this information a classical homeopath would base the

prescription on your personalized experience of what's going on and

that's why the interview is so important. The results of the tests

would be taken into account and of course could be part of indications

of how things are progressing.

Is this in the UK as well as in the US? In the training I am

considering the last year students are taught how to do BPs, ear exams,

other minor diagnostic evaluations.....

Where did you decide on then, ? I am qualified in reflexology and

aromatherapy already, but am also a qualified first aider - so I do have

lots of *hands-on* contact. I have never heard of any such *law* that

prohibits physical contact in the UK, but it would surely depend on the

context? A physical *examination* would be unethical rather than illegal,

imo. I already do blood pressure assessments but perhaps the secret here is

the word you have used - *diagnostic* - that is one thing we do *not* do as

alternative therapists. Only a doctor may legally *diagnose*. As a

homoeopath I can't see that you would *need* to diagnose? If I am

misunderstanding, please forgive me.
