Guest guest Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Are there any moms out there that have breastfed more than one of their children that also have one vaxed and one not? I am interested in these statistics and general info. from others. Thanks in advance! Jenn L Hi Jen- I breastfed my 1st two boys and they were also vaccinated up until 18 months. They both were always sick and were in & out of the dr's office & ER all the time. I also didn't introduce solids until after 9 months. They " looked " very healthy, chunky, etc. But, they were constantly sick with respiratory infections, ear infections, etc. etc. My 1st son eventually developed epilepsy which was very severe! My 2nd son has severe nut allergies! After my son Noah had his epilepsy, I was looking everywhere to find a cause, and went back to his medical records. I noticed that usually within a week or two of every shot (if not earlier) both boys would be sick. There were times we even had to be ADMITTED to the hospital because they were so bad. And, My 3rd son born 4 months ago is NOT vaxxed and is breastfed, and is SO VERY HEALTHY! He has never even had the sniffles! My other boys were WAY sick by this age! I have to say that if I go on " mother's instinct " , I am completely convinced that my first two boys were attacked by those horrible vaccines and their bodies couldn't battle it- EVEN WITH breastfeeding! And, I came to this conclusion before I joined any groups or even researched too much into vaccines, so I do not think I have been " affected " to think this way. It is definitely something to consider. Hope that answers your questions! Guest guest Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Thank you for that . I need some reassurrance about my feelings of not vaxxing my next child. I have heard from 3 other moms and the response is typical. Happy, healthy, stronger children are inevitable without receiving vaccinations. I am interested in these statistics and general info. from others. Jenn, Most of ours were pediatrically vaccinated. But our last one has received nothing but the Vitamin K.. which I would not do again, but we were talked into. Anyways... he is 9.5 years old now and has had no antibiotics, except garlic and occasionally some silver in rare situations. He also has a close friendship with the vitamin C. :-) He does have allergies, but they all have.. and my husband had asthma, which I am told does predispose them to allergies. The youngest has had no ear infections at all. All the others (vaccinated) had ear infections and were on antibiotics by the age of 2 months. To be honest.. I never had correlated the ear infections with the vaccines. I nursed all of mine from 13 to 27 months of age, so the difference in their health is the vaccines. I will be honest.. the youngest has had the " normal " viruses going around, but is not chronically sick nor has he needed to go to the doctor for them. Just our experience. Kim Quote
Guest guest Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 I also wanted to mention- a friend of mine has a one year old that has been breastfed for he first year- yet she was vaxxed and I think that is why she has had numerous ear infections (leading to tubes being placed in her ear) and is always sick... Guest guest Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Hey Jenn, I exclusively breastfed all three of my sons for several months followed by breast milk and baby food for different periods of time per child. Only my oldest boy was vaxed until approx.age 2. They are all fairly equal in health. My vaxed son is prone to poisin ivy every summer and seasonal allergies which he seems to be outgrowing nicely at the age of 12 now. I attribute that to giving him immune support to help him correct the problem from within. My other two unvaxed boys are very healthy too, though Henry, who has autism, wasn't always despite no vaccines and being breastfed for a full year. Again, I attribute his health to detoxification programs used in the past, intensive immune support and more recently, homeopathy which he receives with a minimal amounts of supplements only; no NAET; nothing else. He is doing remarkably well healthwise and developementally. :~) Anita Jenn wrote: Are there any moms out there that have breastfed more than one of their children that also have one vaxed and one not? Guest guest Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Anita, So you're telling me that Henry has autism and he has never been vaxed? I have always believed that the overall toxic body burden can get to a point where the immune system cannot handle the amount of toxins and that's the last straw that breaks the camel's back. I am thinking autism here. Just my point of view of course. Thanks for your response on the breastfeeding and vaccinations topic. Guest guest Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 My little girl, the same thing but, many numerous infections with antibiotics etc. She's going to be 6 soon and the last time she was vaxed she was 2 I think. We've been fighting her illnesses for 4 long years now. She will not get another one and she doesn't have any spontaneous language. Thanks for your response. Guest guest Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 I have two boys. My oldest was vaccinated up until he was " supposed " to get the MMR, then I wised up. He was breastfed up until he was 26 months old. He was sick quite a bit. He would catch anything and everything that was going around. He also had many ear infections. He showed his first signs of asthma about six months after he weaned, the allergist said that he sees that often. He said that breastfeeding will usually help hold off the first signs of asthma. My second son was never vaccinated and is still breastfeeding at 3.5 years old. He has never had an ear infection, is hardly ever sick and when he is sick, it doesn't hit him as hard as other people. He hasn't shown any signs of asthma, and I am hoping that it stays that way. -- Sara Proud Mama to Colin 12/07/99 Jack 8/07/02 -------------- Original message -------------- From: Algaveda@... Guest guest Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Yes Jenn, he is unvaccinated and autistic. I still think there is credence to your theory about overall toxicity. Henry was injected with 2 types of precautionary iv antibiotics on his 3rd day of life for three days JUST after getting his first taste of mothers milk. He was then on a 2month diet of polluted breastmilk from me being on iv antibiotics due to a nasty case of phlebitis. I was very sick and very scared and wanted so badly to bond with my baby and believed the hospital staff when they told me it was safe to breastfeed. So you see he was innondated with toxins both through drugs and the trauma of seperation at such a crucial time. Of course each child has their own weight in " straws " they can bear. Unfortunately, his breaking point was very early in life. Though he was never vaccinated, his immune system was corrupted by drugs nonetheless resulting in early onset autism causing him to miss most of the developemental milestones entirely. Guest guest Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Those antibiotics. I was on them during pregnancy and again when she was 3 weeks old. She was then on them countless times after she was 3 months old for constant infections. She is trying to fight a cold now, the 7th time she was sick with something since Jan. 1. It's an ongoing thing. I think K needs some immune support but, not sure what to use. She has a severe sensitivity to casein so, I'm not sure if she can take colostrum or not. I would like to try something for her that is not suppressive that I can afford. We have some supplements on their way from a sponsor. I hope they get here soon so, I can start her recovery. I am doing nutritional things with her now. Thanks for sharing your experiences with me. Guest guest Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Hi Jenn The way I see it, the cheapest, most effective way to deal with ALL disturbances is to find and use a good classical homeopath. All the money and time spent on diets and such can be bi-passed with true healing from within that will surely help the body correct itself. I know many use diets and have seen remarkable results, but food allergies are auto immune responses, so the only real way to heal the body is from the inside out, not by adjusting to the disturbances from the outside in with selective foods chosen to appease the disturbance. For this reason, I have decided against NAET knowing that the allergies he supposedly has will be eventually corrected through the healing of homeopathy. It's just a matter of time...and the right remedy of course. ;~) Anita Jim and Jen <jlessard@...> wrote: Those antibiotics. I was on them during pregnancy and again when she was 3 weeks old. Guest guest Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 May I suggest Probiotics? Huge doses of probiotics. I have experiences to back it up, if you are interested (I won't bore you all on the list:) I can send you to more info... canyonsmama@... Anyone else found them to be helpful? We have found serious results in health from them. Cassie Sala http://salafamilyblog.blogspot.com Jim and Jen <jlessard@...> wrote: Those antibiotics. Guest guest Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 We have some S. Boulardii on the way and I already give her acidophilus and goat yogurt made with the GiProHealth starter. Doc said try some Bifido complex after that. With huge doses of probiotics comes die-off and K's is a terrible die-off case everytime so we must go slow. Thanks for your suggestions. Guest guest Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Have you ever heard of lactobacillus sporogenes? This is really suppose to help with language from what I am told.
