Guest guest
I just got my SNP/GAR test kit, they included the book Genetic Bypass which I have on order from Amazon, maybe I will give it to my local doctor who has other CFIDS patients. Also sent me some DVDs. I don't know what all this test covers, does it cover the same genes as the Genovations (Great Smokies) Detoxigenomic test? I see the book talking about the COMT test that Cheney mentioned on the phone that he wanted to check with the Genovations test. He didn't send me the Genovations test, which makes the second time he's said he would but didn't, so I need to know whether I should just do the Yasko test and forget about the Genovations one, or get on the phone to his clinic and plague them about it. Anyone knows, I'd appreciate it. Just starting to look at the book, took one biology course in college 33 years ago, this is going to be hard. thanks, Helen
Guest guest
Helen The Detoxi test covers different things than the Yasko SNP. I did both and I am glad I did. The one COMT SNP is the only duplicate of each test and the Detoxi test looks at that from a detox point of view. I would wait until you get your genetics back from Yasko. The book covers all sort of variations and only a few will apply to you.
