Guest guest
Hi, Suzanne. Yes, this is a way to raise the glutathione level. However, there are a couple of issues with the direct methods of raising glutathione. One is that some people, because of their genetic variations, cannot tolerate much glutathione if given directly. Secondly, only a few people have apparently been able to get their glutathione level to stay up permanently by using direct approaches to build glutathione. As you may know, I think this is due to a vicious circle mechanism that is involved with the methylation cycle and genetic variations in enzymes that impact it. I am now suggesting that people look into these genetic variations and use Dr. Amy Yasko's approach to bypass them and get the methylation cycle back in proper operation. In autism, this has been found to bring glutathione back up on a steady basis. I think it will work in CFS as well, because the genetics and the biochemistry appear to be the same or similar. To find out about the Yasko approach, go to http://www.autismanswer.com and join the parents' group. Look at the introductory information, and also go to the parents and adults section and read Dr. Yasko's message there. Rich > > I was wondering if anyone had tried Kirkman Labs Glutathione cream?
