Guest guest
bHello , Here are some things to consider for you. Can you google Paradex and see if you might order it or at least look at the contents of the product. For the short term this may work for you. In the long run, go to Autism Answer and then go to the BASICS FORUM and look for the " updated Gut protocol " that should keep the buggers at bay once you've hit the Blastocystis with the Paradex or the likes of that, the gut protocol may assit you in soring out the health and ph of the gut. You can also use Colon Cleanse if you tend not to have diarreh. This may be a short term answer to the Bug you are dealing with at this time.. All of this information I have taken directly for Dr. Yasko on www.AutismAnswer.ocm.. Also several mum's on the site from England have indeed order the testing from hoistic health for the genetics. I hope this helps. If you go to Autism Biomed Europe you will be able to contact those parents I believe. Guest guest
I just tried the liposomal glutathione. I was never sensitive to whey protein nor did I feel that it helped me tremendously. I tried 1 teaspoon (the recommended dosage) at first. Within a couple of hours I had a sore throat which reminded me of the early years of CFS. I bumped the dosage back to 1/2 teaspoon and didn't get any more sore throats. But over the course of about 10 days my energy plummetted. I felt like I was back to the years when I couldn't hardly get out of bed. Also had a lot of stomach problems. I've been off the glutathione for about two weeks now. I am finally bouncing back to my level of functioning before taking it. I've decided to wait a while before I try it again. Not a good experience. Guest guest
Ouch! Bummer. Thanks for the warning. I will start very slowly if I try it. Guest guest
Hi, Lynn. I think it's possible that you have a CBS (cystathionine beta synthase) polymorphism (SNP). Quite a few PWCs who have gotten the Yasko panel have been showing up with one or more of them. If you have one or more of these SNPs, and particularly also if you have a minus on the SUOX SNP, you may not be able to tolerate taking glutathione. You may have to focus on your methylation cycle first. If it's feasible for you to do so, I suggest that you consider getting the Yasko panel run. It's expensive, but it might be the key to figuring out your best treatment approach. It can be found at http://www.testing4health.com, and is called the Complete Basic SNP Panel I. A few PWCs have been able to raise their glutathione by direct approaches, but many have not been able to, and I suspect that the reason is a vicious circle that is holding the glutathione level down, involving the methylation cycle and SNPs in enzymes that impact it. I think that PWCs who have CBS SNPs are vulnerable to building up too much sulfite if they try to build glutathione directly, and I think that's what produces some of the unpleasant symptoms. If you don't mind commenting, did your " stomach problems " include foul- smelling gas, such as would be produced by hydrogen sulfide? I suspect that the sore throat resulted from your immune system coming into action because of the elevated glutathione. That was probably a " good " sign, though I'm sure it didn't feel that way. I think it means that your immune system would benefit from elevating glutathione, and that if given the chance it would knock out infections that are already in your body, but I suspect that you will not be able to realize these longer-term benefits unless you deal with methylation cycle issues, which I suspect that you have. Guest guest
Could someone tell me the test to find out about these bugs causing dysbiosis?
