It feeds on cysteine, which may be high in your system because of poor capacity to use it, as is found in many PWCs, and/or because of Essential Glutathione. ***One thing to do is take lactoferrin to help reduce this overgrowth in your gut and use a topical over the counter spray such as lotrimin, which is meant to kill off superficial yet asthetically annoying rashes of this type on your skin. Guest guest
HI Katrina, The same thing happened to me, and I have tried 2 times to raise my glutathione, both times ended up with a yeast infection. I suspect a CBS mutation, and I am proceeding forth with an Amino Acids test to see if I am making Taurine and Amounia rather than glutathione. Janet davidhall2020 <davidhall@...> wrote: Hi, Katrina. I was getting this 2-3 years ago, prior to any (obvious) CFS symptoms or supplementation - my skin doctor said this was very common among type 2 diabetics, which I am, even with well controlled blood sugar (which mine wasn't always). The best I've been able to do for it is Almay anti-perspirant liquid, blow-dried, and then apply an anti-fungal powder. I suspect the powder is probably more useful for the drying effect than the anti-fungal effect, but I haven't made that experiment. - Bob NIederman

I mix that with .1 % Triamcinolone cream. These relieve and get rid of it pretty fast. I just don't know if that's a good idea on a regular basis. Im trying tea tree oil for this bout, which I caught early. Whey protein then lactofferin and then Coconut oil - will wipe out your candida issue. Regards CS
