Buhner recommends using Cat's Claw to increase CD57 levels in his

Lyme book:

" One of the best aspects of cat's claw for treating Lyme infection is

that it raises CD57+ natural killer (NK) cells, a potent part of the

immune system. Lyme spirochetes, after they become established in

the body, specifically inhibit the production of this subset of the

immune system...This capacity of cat's claw to raise just this NK

subset is one of the reasons why it has shown such good results in

the treatment of chronic or late-stage Lyme infections. "
