Guest guest
Hi, Per. I looked into creatine as it is discussed in the Pangborn and Baker book called, Autism: Effective Biomedical Treatments. It doesn't appear to be a high-on-the-list treatment for autism though some have tried it, the 2003 study results on CFS and creatine at Tufts University I think it was I don't recall being impressive or even if they had been published, and creatine can cause dehydration if not taken with care. I think it is this last note about dehydration that gave me pause in trying creative as many of we PWCs have diabetes insipidus with corresponding low blood volume, which means low hydration levels compared to normals by definition. Body builders, famous for using things like creatine, are normals and even they have incidences of dehydration from using it. On the upside, I'm an example of a PWC who eliminted my diabetes insipidus by use of nondenatured whey over a period of months. So, my hydration levels have normalized and exeprimenting carefully with creatine appears safe for me to do at this point or in the future if I so choose. Guest guest
Hi Thanks for the responses. Read about the dehydration and kidney issues and decided not to continue with it. I only took about 0.5 g. Glad you found whey helpful . Some people dont seem to tolerate it well due to dysbiosis or allergies or whatever..like me. > > Hi, Per. > > > > I looked into creatine as it is discussed in the Pangborn and Baker book called, Autism: Effective Biomedical Treatments.
