Wow, that is some protocol that you follow. No one could ever understand the

things that we have to do just to survive, unless they were going through this

themselves.

To think I used to wash my sheets once a week, and sometimes it even went 2 weeks. Now it's every single day, including the blanket etc....

Thanks for all you do , to help others!

Sue L.

IF I can get rid of these things without getting rid of all my belongings, I will.

That may not be possible, I realize that.

However I'm doing what others are doing for my body,

INTERNAL

Alka-something Cayenne capsules Dry Oxy Hair Skin and Nails Lugol's Not Nice to Toxins Oregano Oil Papaya Enzymes ParaFree Pomegranate Oil Seabuckthorn Oil Silver

Note: The Glucosamine Chondroitin is rebuilding the cartilage around my deteriorated vertebrae (top and bottom of spine), and that is really helping alleviate the pain in my back though bending and then--here's the rub--standing back up is still the thing that is killer, but maybe, maybe I will be able to use the Trish/Bobby oil as intended, in the tub, eventually, hopefully by then as a maintenance protocol only.

EXTERNAL

Hair--ESP Shampoo (leave on 30 min max; I love this, Trish) for the long-term kick, and Enzyme Cleaner w Peppermint for the short-term.

Lice Comb

Face wash with Dawn. My big trick here is to soap my face up and--instead of rinsing repeatedly and drying thoroughly once--I start at my forehead/hairline and splash warm water across a band of my face at the time and blot it immediately. I work from forehead down and do each band at least twice, more for the eye area. I do whatever I can to keep the rinse water from my forehead out of my eyes, that from my eyes out of my nostrils, that from all of the above off my mouth...Each blot is with a couple of clean paper towels. I do not reuse any portion of a paper towel for this purpose.

Preshower oil massage to bring 'em up. Mine, which I mix for that purpose, actually works quite quickly, bringing things up faster than the Pink Oil ever did. I tried mixing a bit of the Bobby/Trish bath mixture in various carrier oils, but none worked as well

Shower ending with ESP soap, left on a few minutes as the instructions direct.

Rinse with a dilute of RP.

Step out of the shower and use handheld sprayer to wash down the shower stall. Spray all implements (the handles stick up out of the plastic canisters I soak everything in) and the drain with Dawn.

Use a Huggies to clean my sleek LG Dare cell phone.

Air dry and while that happens change my disposable sheets, which involves rolling up the one or two I slept on (two on cold nights), and removing one (or two) from the sealed bin (w menthol) where I store them inside a garbage bag for extra protection.

Put ESP balm on over the Roach Prufe. I have to have something to moisturize, and the new ESP balm is wonderful!

I have an open tub on the floor that is large enough to step in with both feet. I keep it filled with Roach Prufe and DE. I step in it and cover my feet with the mixture. I pick some up out of the tub and drizzle a thin layer of the powder over my body. Excess isn't wasted, it falls back into the tub. Then I dredge clean socks in the mixture and pull the socks onto my powdered feet.

I put on clean underwear and PJs from my sealed, menthol or orange scented tubs, climb onto my fresh disposable sheet, and since books are so problematic and my new phone so easy to keep clear of the critters, I surf the net, read my email here and elsewhere, and before I know it I am asleep--with the aid of a half of a 100mg Seroquel. A note on Seroquel. If you use it, make sure you do not take it too soon, because when it kicks in, I fall like a stone. I have hurt myself this way many times. I will be glad when I can get to sleep without something to turn off my skin--and my brain!

In the morning, I lint roll the sheet(s) and leave them on the bed to catch any fallout from the environment, but I do not use the same ones 2 nights in a row, though some nights I probably could. After all we go through to get ready for bed, I don't want that to be the thing that causes me to have to get up and do it all again.

I still, on weekends, soak a week's worth of underclothes and socks in a benzalchonium chloride and repellent essential oils and water.

I seemed to have gotten rid of them for a few months on my person (about 6 months ago), but I think the environment was too large and too infested for me to win at the current place. It doesn't get mentioned alot here these days, but Neem Oil every night in the shower and sleeping on plastic mattress cover seemed to rid them from my person for me. Unfortunately, I think they were deeply in the home structure and/or surrounding area (there's a chicken coop nearby). So I think maybe with the Boraxing, Roach Prufing and a return to Neem Oil I may be able to keep them from invading the new place. Everything's going into storage except plastic boxes, thoroughly laundered items and a piano. I got rid of all upholstered furniture today. Fingers crossed. Also, my current personal technique for keeping them from constantly irritating is using the steamroom, sauna, and hot tub at least every other that (thank God) I have access to at my gym. There's eucalyptus oil in the steam room too, which I believe, really ruins their day. This alone I credit to preventing me from itching except when I'm actually at my current place. Thanks for the advice and for listening!> >> > I'm moving out of my infested place and would appreciate any words > of wisdom as far as > > things to do to prevent a reinfestation of the new place.
