I just thought that was the coolest thing, and it's been a huge inspiration and reminder of what's possible as i've been working towards my most recent goal. Weeeeellll... today i did it... I jus got back from school and before heading to bedrest for tha night, i weighed in and .... I'M UNDER THREE HUNDRED!!! WOOO HOOO.... I'm so excited, I'm doing a lil skinny dance - which looks suprisingly like laying on tha couch. I am hovering around the 350 mark and I would love to go under 300. It really means alot when you get out of the 300's. Keep up the great work! When I use the treadmill I do about 2400 steps in 20 min (that's a mile for me), so I'm majorly impressed. Over 300 steps is huge!!! Is your goal to do 10,000 extra steps each day, or 10,000 steps total for the day? Maybe I should get out the pedometer again. Might give me some more motivation. Hugs, MD I Did It Well I finally got my treadmill back so I did what I said I was going to do. I got on it and used it. I feel so much better now. I had to take a few breaks but all together I was on it for 30 minutes. I burnt 140 calories I know thats not alot but its a start. And I walked 3,329 steps. Im trying to work my way up to 10,000 steps. I know I have a long way to go but Im sooooooo proud of myself. It's not about the calories you burn while your doing the treadmill - it's about the changes you are making in your body! You are burning off fat, building up muscle, and changing your metabolism for the better. Sure, you can say you only burned off 140 calories while you were walking, but that's not the end of it. You increased your calorie burn for a period of time after you got off the treadmill, and over time, you will increase your calorie burn even while you are at rest!
