Guest guest Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 Fast Food Nutrition Stats Thanks for posting that, . That was really sobering. I don't eat out a lot during the week, whether at lunch for work or dinner/breakfast. But, my Sat/Sun I do like to have a treat and those calories can add up, not to mention the fat, etc... , most restaurants like McD's and them have nutritional pamphlets that you can look at before you order to know what you are getting. They should anyway. Most of the time they are gone. I have in the past looked them up online, to get an idea before going what I am going to have.Just about all the restaraunts have the nutritional info on line. Just type the restaraunt name at google and you can find their webpage easily. Everyone thinks Mc s is off limits but really it isn't. there are a lot of meals you can have under 500 calories at many restaraunts. Just remember to order the kids size and don't super size. And don't grab a bunch of sides! Just take a look online before going to get a idea of what is high in calories and what isn't. Rally's Hamburgers is the only restaraunt that I can't find a nutritional page on so far. Go take a look. It really helps to see those numbers before you get to the restaraunt. p.s. packing counts as exercise because it is physical movement!! :-D Quote

Guest guest Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 I stopped eating Culvers turtle sundee 900+ calories! I do like the pot roast sandwhich - minus the bread with the mashed potatoes (about 500 calories). Does procrastinating count as exercise? I've managed to change addresses on most everything. got 1 box and 2 loads of dishes done and to top it off - I decided to cook diner (haven't done that in forever!)ABrite@... wrote: Thanks for posting that, . Guest guest Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 popeye's chicken is another one that doesn't have nutritional information I had to search high and low - and you never know how accurate somebody else's information is. I totally agree! Taco bell is one of my favorites for keeping lunch under 500 - 2 regular tacos 340 - it was hard to go back to regular tacos but they're just as filling and cheaper too! ok back to work for me <sandra.mygroup@...> wrote: , most restaurants like McD's and them have nutritional pamphlets that you can look at before you order to know what you are getting. Their 1/2 pound cheesy bean and rice burritos are very filling too at 490 calories. It and a diet soda and you will come away under 500 calories and very full. We just to order a 1/2 pound especial (probably spelled wrong) It was also very filling but they now longer offer it. Too bad it was very good.ok back to work for me You're making me tired! <sandra.mygroup@...> wrote: , most restaurants like McD's and them have nutritional pamphlets that you can look at before you order to know what you are getting. Guest guest Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 guess it was a good thing I went back to work LOL - got 3 kitchen cabinets done - pots, pans etc. No one would ever believe I moved in with just a frying pan and a few pots 18 years ago! Goodness - I even have a complete set of Holiday dishes complete with the 'extras' - AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH ok deep breath - table is mostly cleared - lower cabinets are as bare as they can be for 3 more weeksABrite@... wrote: In a message dated 4/9/2006 12:41:45 PM Pacific Standard Time, bryefield@... writes: Does procrastinating count as exercise? Guest guest Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 awwwww - you can tell me no too LOL. since I'm wondering from room to room and packing some here and some there (at least each box is room specific!) maybe I should do like that man who let people on the internet tell him what to watch and ask you guys what room to pack next! for a small apt there's still a lot of choices . Daughter is working on her room. Off to pack the lp's. yep easy <sandra.mygroup@...> wrote: Re: Fast Food Nutrition Stats In a message dated 4/9/2006 12:41:45 PM Pacific Standard Time, bryefield@... writes: Does procrastinating count as exercise?
