Fantastic, Sandi! Good for you! (and how did you stop after 6 piecesof Target popcorn? That stuff is wonderful...my oldest called Target"The popcorn store" because we got it every time we went there!)-Bonnie

It was SOOOOOOOO easy to stop! LOL....on this program, there's no salt....and I'm not a big salt person...well, piece #6 was visited by the salt fairy.........and I just about spit it out, lol...so........that's it for me & popcorn for awhile. And, I remembered why I was in there to start with....I was buying "Pure Protein Bars" to keep me on plan when I'm not at home to eat on plan. =)OHhhhhhhhhhhhh, but, on a total "child of the 70's" moment..........my son and I then walked down to Best Buy to buy..........................Amazon.com: The Best of The Electric Company: DVD: Avalos,Jimmy Boyd,Lee Chamberlin,Bill Cosby, Freeman,Judy Graub.. .

We've been watching it all afternoon! It's so much fun!

LOL Ann! I needed the laugh!

Seriously though... I take a large package of ground turkey breast (2.5 lbs. Farms) w/ a nice amount of salt-free spike for flavor & brown it and drain it really well. Then in another dutch oven, I spray a bit of Pam and dump in 2 bags of Ore Ida Hash Browns (I like the one with the bell peppers in it...Potatoes O'Brien I think)...and a container of sliced mushrooms and sometimes an onion. I cook it until the potatoes are soft and browned. Then I mix in the browned, drained turkey. And there you have it....I use about 3/4 to 1 c. as a serving which covers 2 oz. protein & 1/2 c. carb.

I've kept it in the fridge for up to a week. I just nuke it for about 1 minute and my meal is ready.

But, the brownies sound good, too.......maybe minus *that hash.....

Nooooooo, no, no, no, no.....nevermind....brownies are evil..........I do not want brownies....I do not want brownies....(how many times do I have to say that to make it true? LOL)

6 pieces of popcorn? I'd call that 99.999% on program! Congratulations!

>Snack: turkey hash

I had hash brownies in my misspent youth but never turkey hash. How do you

mix the weed into the turkey? hee hee. hmmm...... I guess you could

replace the sage in the dressing with..........

Never mind! That was a former life many, many, many years ago and it wasn't

even important to me back then. Drinking was important but not drugs. :P

Sheesh woman. What do you have against 1st-3rd grade Girl Scouts? Brownies

can be overly energetic and annoying but I wouldn't call them evil.

Ok. I really need to stop with the stupid jokes and get back to work. :)

Sandi, that is fantastic. That is one of my goals for hopefully the near future, to get so organized as to do my shopping, planning and preparing on the weekend.

Great job!

Thanks , it really helps when you don't have to think about your meals but one day per week. It gets a little boring sometimes, but, ya work through it. ;D

(Jon got a small popcorn while we were at Target this afternoon, and I had 6 pieces....someone whip me with a wet <rice> noodle!) I think it really helped to do all of my cooking for the week yesterday. It felt great to eat "clean, healthy" food all day. I hope everyone had a great day! Sandi Breakfast: 2 oz. chicken breast, 1 banana Snack: turkey hash Lunch: 2 oz. chicken breast, 2 c. steamed veggies, 1/2 c. steamed rice Snack: 2 oz. chicken breast, 1/2 c. steamed rice, 6 pieces

popcorn (eyeroll) Dinner: turkey hash, 2 c. steamed veggies Snack: (If needed in a little while...) 1/2 c. pineapple Water: 96 oz. so far, I'll drink another 32 while watching TV & take another 32 oz. cup to bed with me, so, it'll be 160 oz. for the day. Live, Love, Laugh
