Should NOT be that much more expensive - I never found it to be.

I've send a bunch of info to the list before on how to find a dentist and more

I don't remember the exact prices of both, but I just had some done. My

insurance company paid what it would have cost for amalgams, then I had to pay

the difference. I think I ended up paying about $15 per tooth, give or take a

couple of dollars. It wasn't bad at all.

I agree 100%! They also look much nicer than a mouth full of silver and you

don't get that metallic taste!

I had 3 composites put in my dd this past March. I don't recall how much I paid

through the insurance. I could have gotten amalgam fillings for freethrough

state medical,but no way! Regardless of the cost it is worth the peace of mind

to not put amalgams in.

and *drilled* the hell out of each on filling material and costs. Doctors and

dentists hate me.
