Hi Sherri. Are you asking me or the other " Tim " I saw on this list? I am

enjoying your list very much. Sheryl's autism can be summed up in two

sentences. 1..An inherited genetic inability to excrete mercury from her body

and 2. early exposure to large amounts of thimerosal = mercury-induced autism.

Tim Ziegeweid...PS She is making good progress with chelation and vitamin B-12

shots but we will never know how she would have been had she not been exposed to

thimerosal.

Here is our story in brief. My son lost the ability to speak/coo/babble

after the MMR shot at 13 months. Silent except for grunting for the next 14

months. also had eye rolling episodes (seizures?) which Resolved at 27

months when he began attempting speech again. Unintelligible for a very

long time. Eventually diagnosed at Vanderbilt with severe phonological

speech disorder. Has been in speech therapy for 2 1/2 years and making

great progess on his speech. About a year ago some auditory issues began to

emerge. Holding hands over ears (especially to certain types of music)/

auditory oversensitivities and seemingly not hearing in noise. Recent

audiology workup shows normal hearing and auditory processing in right ear

but significant auditory processing deficit in left ear. Currently trying

to decide best interventions to help left ear catch up with right ear.

Considering fast forward, listening therapy, auditory integration therapy,

earobics, etc.
