Guest guest
Deb, I know what you mean. My dd often asks to donate to the different charities when we're out, especially if we get stopped in the street and those kind-hearted souls who do the collecting behave like I'm the world's worst citizen for not contributing!! So many of these charitable donations are complete rip-offs, both in terms of the way the money is used and what it's used for. I'd like it if the cancer research charities used donations to investigate alternative methods of treating/preventing cancer, and in education about healthy lifestyles. But it just gets ploughed into more drug research - if the money makes it that far!!! Health related issues and research into them should be funded either by the state or the pharmas or both. Except they both have too much to lose - the first, control, the second, power and money. Love, light and peace, Sue " It is not unfair to conclude that medicine is the only branch of science that has based its structure on opinions and suppositions rather than on laws and principles.
