Guest guest
Now that is scary! I filed a philosophical exemption for my son to start speech therapy through the school district. We are in Michigan, but if Wisconsin is thinking that way, then who's to say that Michigan won't? I guess I should have done religious, eh? This is what happens when we stand for government having any control over what we do with OUR bodies, it is sick and wrong. I used to think that I lived in the " land of the free " , but am now wondering if that is really so. Sara " They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country or our people. And neither do we. " W. Bush Article may have been sent, but hope you didn't miss this! http://portage.scwn.com/articles/2004/11/08/news/news2.txt " He estimated that 3 percent of all children across Wisconsin have their vaccinations waived, although the number has increased over the past 10 years. " I've always wondered what this " magic number " would be, and have never gotten a straight answer. In Wisconsin, at least, we now have one. Do you realize how easy it would be to manipulate these exemption numbers to support the " magic number " above? It seems the AMA may be getting their collective " wish " sooner rather than later. I think this is why a sustained effort needs to made, starting yesterday, for pro-choice activists in all the states to develop a prong in their legislative agenda, to promote a loosening of the current medical exemption language.
