is she eating a lot of dairy? sometimes this is the cause and once this is

eliminated the infections are no longer taking place.

YEs, there are certainly risks - anesthesia & bleeding.

Tonsillectomies were one of the most scary surgeries that I saw as a peds

nurse - ALWAYS the potential for massive bleeding fast.

I certainly wouldn't go there

Of course her doctor says there are no options.........they have no clue

about options

And after antibiotic and antibiotic, there are rebound infections.

So show her the list and hope she is interested for her sake

Cutting out tonsils will not resolve the disturbance that is causing them

to act up.

I know I'm late replynig...... I've been away for a couple of days.

Anyway, I had my tonsil's out when I was around 12 years old - and all I can

remember was BLEEDING like crazy...... they kept me in the hospital for 4 days

because of it.

That must have been aweful. I am sorry you had to suffer probably in the

name of profit and maybe not knowing of any other options on your parents part

as well as the doctors. I say the doctors as well because they are not trained

in certain areas that really need to be looked into along with other things
