Guest guest
That's an excellent question, Genevieve, I recommend taking Sheri's online introduction to homeopathy course. It's very informative and gives the basics for treating all sorts of acute illnesses. I don't plan to take my children to an allopathic MD again for any illness, much less for measles or anything like that. I have a working knowledge of homeopathy (thanks to Sheri's class) and a homeopath as a back up for the more serious things that may arise, (or for something chronic). HTH Kay ********************* So... are there books or websites out there that give info on how to treat these diseases? I mean, I know how to treat chicken pox - that hasn't been vaccinated against all that long. But I was fully vaccinated (through high school) - so I've never had experience with M, M, or R... or Pertussis (sp?) for that matter. Where can I find info on how to treat these diseases in the case that one of my children contracts these? Personally, I think it's a lot safer to be prepared to treat the real thing than dabble in the mystery and danger of vaccines. Guest guest
Thanks, Kay - It's something I hope to do in the coming years, but it's not a possibility (time/commitment-wise) right now. I also live in a rural area of SD, not exactly a hotbed for homeopaths, but it is something I'm looking in to... you never know! I appreciate the info =) Genevieve I recommend taking Sheri's online introduction to homeopathy course. Guest guest
First there are NO vaccine preventable diseases (you probably realize that since you put that in quotes in the subject line) At 10:30 PM 10/17/2004 -0000, you wrote: > > >I've heard from another parent that sees our pediatrician that she >will support (read: not fight) your decision to not vax as long as you >have done your research and aren't just being a sheep (which I can say >I have done the research... so I'm not worried). Man oh man - like they have a right to do this. But I guess its better than nothing They are EMPLOYED BY YOU and don't own your life But I'm hearing more >and more about doctors not knowing how to treat things like Measles >and Mumps because they haven't been prevalent in so long... or the >hysteria that we just read about in the posts about low MMR >vaccination in England causing 1 out of 10 to effected to be hospitalized. > Doctors NEVER knew how to treat them. Most cases are totally benign and you do NOT need a doctor. In those that had complications, they could only treat the complications and that, in my opinion, is where the damage and deaths come in - from the treatment (or lack of good treatment). Homeopaths have been treating these illnesses for over 200 years with much success. >So... are there books or websites out there that give info on how to >treat these diseases? Some of the homeopathy books in my bookstore deal with this Also the vaccine dangers class I teach - part 2 of the class - I will be teaching this very subject. Also touch on it in the homepathy class and teach you how to find the remedy for any minor acute illness or first aid. > >Where can I find info on how to treat these diseases in the case that >one of my children contracts these? Guest guest
" she will support (read: not fight) your decision to not vax as long as you have done your research and aren't just being a sheep " Had to laugh when I read the bit about being a sheep...I would have though that being a " sheep " would more accurately refer to those people who are routinely taking their children for immunisations not those of us who are questioning/refusing it!!! Sounds to me like she has got it round the wrong way! Why don't they ever say " I will support your decision TO VAX as long as you have done your research and aren't just being a sheep....! How dare you call that type of person a conformist?!?!?! " I was spittin' nails on that one!!
