I react terribly to that and my brother too. Once I started asking for without epinephrine, it made all the difference in the world Epinephrine is adrenalin and using it in the novicaine was like injecting fear. I had a very very bad reaction to it years ago and really thought I was going to die there at the dentist. I think they did too because I had 4 nurses sitting on me with blankets and the I could hear the dentist in the next room yelling at the nurse that shot me with it. very very scarey..
