Guest guest
You're going under the false assumption that vaccines provide " immunity. " Check out Sheri's site http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/vaccine.htm#chronic under " Vaccines effective? " A healthy immune system is the best protection from illness, NOT a shot of hazardous chemicals, bacteria, viruses, foreign DNA from animal and aborted fetal tissue, etc. My 13 year old son was running outside a few weeks ago and got a deep splinter in one of his toes. It took me almost an hour to dig it out. Very little bleeding with it, too. We soaked it in warm water, washed it with soap and water, and I gave him a homeopathic remedy (Ledum for puncture wounds). Fear is what drives the vaccine industry. If we educate ourselves and know what to do for various situations that arise, we will be much more likely to do the right and healthy thing for ourselves and our families. Sheri has made reference to this site often: http://www.simillimum.com/FirstAid.html A wealth of homeopathic first aid info. I like to browse through it occasionally so when the need arises, I know where to find the info I need quickly. Hang in there Tami! : ) Kay ******************* I flipped out, but only a little.... because he had 3 DTP shots when he was a baby, all before he was a year old of course. I feel like such a hypocrite about that. Here I don't vax because I think they're unhealthy and potentially dangerous, yet I have a sigh of relief when he gets an owie, because I " don't have to worry " about tetanus with him. I don't even think that's the full schedule, for him to have had 3 before I stopped when he was 18 months old, yet here I am thinking he's fine at least until he's ten. Most of the time I feel okay with them not being vaxxed, but other times, like this one, I wonder if I've done the wrong thing. Tami
Guest guest
well, I probably would have felt better if it had bled, but no, we had to " squeeze " what little blood came out of it. I was more concerned with having to go to the ER and fight with them about a tetanus shot LOL .... maybe I " m wacko! I really think my lack of being a worry wart in this situation was pure faith. I prayed about it and let God have it. By the Grace of God (and after injury care, I'm sure), was fine. Believe me, I know all too well about the " what ifs " , Liam and I all had pertussis this past spring. 's vax had worn off (obviously, mine had) and Liam is unvaxed. I wondered daily, what if I'd vax'd him, would he have gotten it from me & ? Maybe? Maybe not. That's pretty close exposure, so he very well could have. After that was gone (they're fine, me.... I still occassionally cough like mad), it just reinforced my stance that we got it, we got over it. No long lasting effects. in IL > > , > > I don't think you're a " terrible mother " , I think you're lucky not to > be a worry-wart!! > > So it didn't bleed that much, huh? Really look at this - they don't 'work' to beging with - don't give you immunity. At best they sensitize and in my opinion give a chronic case of the illness and therefore you cannot get an acute case. and Liam is unvaxed. Guest guest
you are funny! I know it isn't funny, but I knew you'd comment on the whole if they work or not to begin with. & yea, you are right, they probably don't .... who knows. I need to read some more & I just can't get Liam off my boob long enough to fold laundry these days, much less read! in IL Re: Re: Sliver again > > > > >Believe me, I know all too well about the " what ifs " , Liam and I all > >had pertussis this past spring.
