BCG and IBD

Anyone know if there is any link between the BCG and IBD? i have

just found out i have ibs and colitis. i was very ill after the

BCG, i passed out 30 minutes after and was ill for a week. Gp said

it was because I had not enough breakfast the day I had the BCG???

I was left with more allergies than before including penicillin.

Just curious if that could be anything to do with this.

BCG is a vaccine with a lto of reactions

You can get any type of reaction from any vaccine - it depends on the areas

of your body that are susceptible in.

One person who is weak in respiratory area may get asthma, another weak in

bowel witll get IBD, etc.

Of course it has to do wtih it

gp talked BS as usual :-( i know someone who ended up

with cerebral palsy shortly after bcg, so i guess

you're lucky...

i find it interesting that you had more allergies

after bcg. i was given smallpox and bcg as a small

child and suffered hayfever on and off since i was

about 6 yrs old. i tried figuring out which vaccine it

was last year, as the hayfever had come back with a

vengence after being dormant for years. some friends

(all researchers into vax) say it's smallpox, others

say it's the bcg.

dangit! next lifetime i'll return as a scientist! so i

can answer all those questions!!!
