Which one did you get, the newer or older one?

Must be the newer one, Sit Tight. This is the exact same problem I have with

all the BlastOff's - a few seconds on an elbow, then switch to a foot, then

to a smiling face, back to the feet again. ARGH! His newest tape for

seniors, Platinum Sweat, is just as bad, and throughout the entire tape you

see these poor people losing their place, looking totally lost. I guess the

cameraman saw it too, because for a good part of *that* tape he doesn't even

focus on the exercisers at all but instead centers the camera on the singer

and piano player who are off to the side of the scene. If it were a stage,

these people would be *off* the stage, that's how far away they are. When

watching on tv, you can barely make out the people doing exercise off in the

distance. :( But those BlastOffs were so bad I had returned my set to QVC

last year (Jan 2003).

You might be better off grabbing his original video for those who can't

stand for long: Reach for Fitness - A Special Video of Exercises for the

Physically Challenged

It's only $15 plus shipping at Amazon, probably less if you can find it on

half.com or ebay.

The tape *I* love the best for nice and easy workouts without jarring the

joints is his original one for seniors, and the Silver

Foxes. Unfortunately, I see it's now out of stock at Amazon and Collage

Video, but maybe your library might have it, or look at other video stores,

like F.Y.E. or Suncoast video.

I'm glad to see it's not me who is having all this trouble. Fortunately, I

remember the routine from my Senior Exercise Class and can use his music to

do my own thing.

The pace is good for the Macarena and basically, this is what he is doing

with this tape but in different versions. There is a tremendous amount of

arm movement. I do think I will still continue to try though. I wasn't

winded in spite of the fast pace and that is a good thing.

The problem is, if you get frustrated with the complexity of it you'll

eventually abandon it. I'm glad you're plugging away and using your own

steps when his get too confusing. :)

Funny thing but I don't mind " moving " so putting my own to the music won't

be bad. The only reason I had to quit Senior exercise at the Center was

because I strained my back (not related to this exercise though).
