WOOOHOOO!!! You were out of the house and were able to stay on

plan! You know how horrible I am at that! :)

was too crowded to keep walking without looking suspicious, so that's

when I hit the book again.

I did the 1 mile DVD, and I've been doing laundry all day.

I've decided to do at least 2 loads a day until I am caught up.

That " should " be a simple enough task since I am up stairs and walk

by both the washer and dryer anytime I'm up stairs. The tough part

will be getting the clothes put away.

It's great that he still talks to his mom ;) I know at that age I

was not the easiest to get along with, and tried to shut my parents

out even though I was still living at home.

I have no idea what we'll be doing other then trying to get the house

clean. It is a never ending project!

Me too!!! Well... Ok, just dinners, but still *for me* that is

great ;)

Hope you have a great weekend!

a-ha I'm not the only one who snags good stationary rotflol

great job - baby steps today - marathon soon <GBG>, what a great use of laundry mat time - I usually go to the car and make phone calls while smoking and listening to the radio with a stop at the video store (which usually involves wandering the store because I never know what I want). not healthy

The harder you fall - the higher you bounce

Still on track

Okay, so I didn't get any exercise video or treadmill time in yesterday, but I *did* stay on my eating plan, I *did* get enough water in, and I *did* have fun watching the Monk marathon on USA and the Unwrapped marathon on Food Network. :)

This morning I did the Broadway BlastOff tape, then showered and headed to the laundromat. Instead of just sitting there reading my book, I walked around and around, up and down all the aisles as the washers whirled away. By the time the clothes went into the dryer it was too crowded to keep walking without looking suspicious, so that's when I hit the book again.

Instead of spending every waking moment obsessed with my food and weight loss plan, I took some time this morning to make a few cards to mail out - one to my brother & his wife for their 10th anniversary, others to shut-ins from the Shareacard list, an off-shoot of the Createacard Friends list (cacfriends or http://www.cacfriends.com) It's been a few months since I had the right attitude to contribute to that group again. I guess I was too busy feeling sorry for myself to help lift the spirits of others.

Then Henry was in a talkative mood today, and I spent some time in his room, just listening to him ramble on about friends, school, and life in general. His winter vacation is over now, with his winter semester class starting in the morning and continuing for 4 hours a day for the next 2 weeks. He'll have a 3-day weekend and then on to the Spring semester. Poor kid was sick for most of the vacation.

Ed and I aren't too sure about our plans for the weekend. Tomorrow morning we'll bring the kid to college and bring him home at 1 after class, but after that the day is ours because he's heading out with friends to a party, so depending on how we both feel (We're both still coughing) we'll maybe ride the rails into NYC, drive over to a mall, or just hang around the house. If it's not raining on Sunday we'll hit the cemetery and visit the family and maybe pay a surprise visit to the aunt from hell.

But my food is all planned for the rest of this week and through next, and aside from some fresh biscuits for next Sunday and maybe some more veggies, everything is already shopped for. We'll hit the grocery store Sunday morning anyway to restock some pantry items. Ed is predicting we'll have our next blizzard on the 13th to 15th so I want to be prepared. I hope it doesn't snow on the 13th - that's the day Freddy vs. comes out on DVD!

Today's food plans:

Breakfast: cream cheese and apple butter on whole wheat bread

Snack: banana

Lunch: leftover mac & cheese

Snack: veggies (3 cups mixed broccoli, carrots, cauliflower)

Dinner: Whole wheat pizza with low-fat cheese, sausage, mushrooms, onions, peppers, minced garlic

Snack: peanut butter flavored brown rice cakes or unsalted pretzels

Enjoy the weekend, ladies!

Didn't you say you were back to doing MacDougall full time? Not trying to

give you a hard time but I thought you recently posted that you were back on

the wagon.
