Hi All,

I weighed myself today and, after completing my first

official week of marathon training, I have lost 2 lb. Yeah

for me!

I don't remember if I mentioned it before, but I am training

to WALK the marathon, not run it. Maybe I'll run one someday,

but I know my knees couldn't take it right now at my current

weight.

Yesterday I did my long walk of the week. It was 6 miles

on a hilly course. It was very overcast and I was waiting for

the rain to come. But, I got lucky and it held off. I'm sick of

this rainy spring. I might as well be back living in Seattle

again. ACCCCKKKK!

I'm going camping this weekend. I'm planning to do

a 10 mile hike to one of my favorite Adirondack lakes.

I haven't done this hike in at least 10 years, so I'm really

looking forward to it. Oh please, let it be a dry day!:-)
