Guest guest
Today, I received a form letter from Kaiser regarding my daughters immunizations. The vaccinations she has not received were highlighted. " A review of records indicates that your child is delinquent in the following immunizations: DTap, MMR, and Varicella. " The form advised me that the shots must be done before my child's second birthday (in two and a half months time) There was also a statement I could initial which read as follows: " Or, at this time I refuse to let my child have any immunizations. Please initial here____________. " Unfortunately, I had given my daughter all of her shots, except the last two Prevnars, as I was ignorant to the dangers of vaccines. I do not wish to give my daughter the MMR, Varicella or last DTap shot. I would prefer for her to catch chickenpox (which I thought she had, but unfortunately did not) naturally. What is the best way to respond to this letter? I am thinking of terminating her Kaiser membership at the end of this month. The doctor I saw did not support co-sleeping, or extended breastfeeding, so I am not happy with their services. In the meantime, how do I deal with this, with as little stress as possible. Thank you for your time Fern and Zoe (21 months)
Guest guest
Can you just ignore it and throw it away? What can they honestly do to you if you don't respond? Guest guest
My son also has Kaiser-he is 19 1/2 months old. He has only recvd the forced Hep vax on the day he was born. I wonder if I should be looking for this letter in the mail as well? M >>>>Today, I received a form letter from Kaiser regarding my daughters immunizations. Guest guest
I don't have Kaiser, but a few years ago when my son was about 2 years old I got a letter from our insurance and they were " reminding " us that we were behind on vax. He's never received ANY. I simply ignored the letter.... they didn't go away - they came back a little later with another reminder, and after that too was ignored, they sent me a form to fill out assuming I had another insurance, and the form was to say either we did or didn't and which other insurance we had if any..... Why the heck would they care anyway!?! Chelly Re: Letter from Kaiser re deliquent immunizations- advice needed My son also has Kaiser-he is 19 1/2 months old.
