Guest guest
I have 2 ruptured & 1 herniated disk ......... my only advice is ice ice ice ... heat feels better, but ice alleviates the pain for much longer periods of time. I have prescriptions for pain killers & muscle relaxers, but with my nursing, I do not take them. I know sneezing sucks!!! It also always turns out that my back (which hurts about 90% of the time) hurts worse right before AF .... and continues until well after she's gone! UGH. I do hope that you feel better. I wish I had a better suggestion! I'll be curious to see what is said about this. in Illinois sahm to 13, Chase 10 & Liam 4/3/03 Former Surgeon General Dr. Antonia Novello: " It's the lucky baby, I feel, who continues to nurse until he is two. " OT..did something very stupid.. I am in horrible pain. I have a couple of herniated disk in my low back and yesterday I started sneezing. Well, they just tore through my low back and really hurt. So, I felt a third one coming on and I held the sneeze in. I felt a bib pop in the middle of my shoulder blades on my spine. It hurt like crazy for about 10 mins and then just became a dull pain. I went to the chiro and he said it is pretty frozen up in there right now. Couldnt get it to move. It hurts no matter what position I am in or turn. Anyone have some wisdom they want to share with me other than NEVER suppress a sneeze? thanks for any help Sherry, who is miserable
Guest guest
My advice is acupuncture treatment. You might also try natural anti-inflammatories including bromelain, boswellin, and curcumin. Fo muscle spasms I usually prescribe kava.
