Guest guest
Just wanted to say hi from a fellow Kentuckian (live outside Lexington). I too have had a most difficult time finding an MD who would see our son (and he has both a religious and medical exemption from further vaccines after an adverse reaction to MMR). Welcome. > http://www.mercola.com/2000/nov/5/victory_over_sids.htm > > This is a very long article and there are other links in it as well, > but is worth reading for anyone who has an infant or is expecting. Guest guest
Welcome ; I know what it is like to be in your shoes. If not for the internet and all of the information to research I probably would still be vaxing. I have 4 children and the first 2 are pretty much fully vaxed, the third up to 9 mos. and the fourth not at all. My family thinks I'm a nut and our ped discharged us from her service! That's okay, I know who the real nuts are! I just love Dr. Mercola. He has alot of great information on his site. That crib death article is an excellent one. Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the list! I live in Northern KY, too (for about 8 years). Is the homeopathic doctor in Cincinnati? (Dr. Fabrey or something like that?) I haven't heard anything about him but would be interested in knowing if he's a good classical homeopath. I went to another one in Cincinnati that wasn't. : ( We now " see " one who is in India (she partners with a homeopath in Wisconsin). All correspondence is vial the internet, and they're great! I have 2 children, 12 and 14. We have a religious exemption that I just recently filled out for them. The only vax's they haven't had are the adult tetanus (dT), and the chicken pox vax (they both had cp the natural way). Again, welcome! It's great to see someone from the same area here on the list! Kay ******************* Well, I'm 34 years old and just had my second daughter in June. (My oldest, from a previous marraige, is going to be 12 in 2 weeks!) My husband and I moved to northern Kentucky 2 and a half years ago from Las Vegas due to a job relocation. Prior to my daughter's birth I have taught in public education (ugh!) and most recently worked at a local law school before quitting to stay at home with my baby.
