15 month old dies in NC from flu

Hi all,

This is quite scary--a 15 month old died Monday in NC from the flu in a

neighboring town. The paper said he was a " healthy child " ; (the dr. said he

was up on all his vaccinations, but didn't have the flu vax); healthy at

4:30 a.m. and died at 11 a.m. Surely there is something else going on. The

autopsy showed it was Type A flu. Maybe his immune system was compromised

since he probably had recent shots. It's so scary though. I've been giving

my 21 mo echinacea & vit. c for days.

It's really shaken up lots of people around here. But his 3 yo brother is

sick, but ok.
