Do you mean what Immunosciences calls Lyme Disease and Related Diseases

Antibody Testing? Also, are you saying that the test is not approved by the

FDA? Does that mean it is not covered by insurance?

Thanks,

Ellen

Hello Ellen,

This information is from the lab result from Immunosciences Lab, Inc. We do not

have a FDA approved Lyme test in this country. Immunoscienes and Bowen Lab. have

both applied for FDA approval of their lyme test. Immunosciences will ask that

you pay up front for the test and mail you a billing form for you to mail to

your insurance company. They did not file Medicare the last time I checked most

other insurances will cover the cost of testing for Lyme. I have found these

Immunosciences lyme tests cost less than having a each test done separate.

Immunoserology of Lyme Disease A

Lyme-Specific Antibodies

B. Burgdorferi Antigens (IgG, IgM)

OspA + AspC Peptides (igG, IgM)

OspE Peptide (IgG, IgM)

Leukocyte Function Associated Antigen (IgG, IgM)

Immunodominant Protein (IgG, IgM)

Variable Major Protein (IgG, IgM)

Borrelia Subspecies Antibodies

B.b.sensu stricto (IgG, IgM)

B. garinii (IgG, IgM)

B. afzelii (IgG, IgM)

Lyme Cross-Reactive Antibodies

Babesia (IgG, IgM)

Ehrlichia (IgG, IgM)

Bartonella (IgG, IgM)

Treponema (IgG, IgM)

***Immunoserology of Lyme Disease B (is the same test as above and includes

Western Blot Assay (IgG and IGM)

*****Immunoserology and Celllular Immunology of Lyme Disease (this includes test

A) and Lyme-Specific Helper Cells: Unstimulated Helper Cells and Stimulated

Helper Cells with Borrelia Antigens

Lyme-Induced Cytokine Production: Tumor Necrosis Factor production and

Interleukin 10 production

Hope this helps,

I just had a lyme test drwan on Monday at the FFC. Do you have any idea if

they did this test you are talking about? If not, how much did you end up

paying for it? Do you have a website or other contact information for this

test?

Thanks,

Dawn

Test A cost around $400.00 and Test B cost around $550.00 and Immunoserology and

I am not sure about the testing with FFC.

Wishing you better health,
