I believe potassium is prescribed when diuretics, which deplete potassium,

are given. Diuretics are usually used for heart failure, where there is a

I did get to do a bit more walking, took some herbal stuff, and all that

helped; my shoe laces seem longer again. I didn't really realize just how much

my

feet had swollen till I saw those laces get long again- and my therapist will

be back soon.

But this might happen again, since it has before, and I will keep your

answers as reminders.

What a good excuse to get a rocker!

Corn silk is a gentle diuretic. Other options for this issue are

Horsechestnut and Butcher's broom.

I was just referring to the customary prescription of potassium in heart

conditions-which was the turf dumbaussie was discussing at the moment. Are you

taking them as a prescription?
