Guest guest Posted July 9, 2005 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 When I realized that refined sugar was making me violently ill and I stopped eating it, I lost weight, and then after about 3 weeks I lost my craving for sweets-for the most part. Stevia is a sweetener but I have found that it has a bad aftertaste for me. But, if you need something, Stevia is the best I know of, a lot less potentially harmful than aspartame.
