Hi Adrienne,

I appreciate your comments regarding the lamp working so well for you.

Is the one you used the same as the one on the site I listed? It would

be good to know that that particular product does a good job.

The cost of $60 at my doctor's office is my share after insurance pays

their part. It does seem high. That's why I'm looking for an

alternative. I had only one treatment there with little change.

Like you, I'm concerned about the sauna idea, but Jim stated in one

message that just warming the core body temperature(w/o sweating) can

help metabolism and circulation, and I certainly could use help in

both areas as my digestion is very poor.

I would be interested in reading the ways the lamp helped you since you

mentioned that it had an effect on so many symptoms. That's great to

hear. Thanks again, Sandy

could just direct it at your legs without trying for the sauna effect.

to get the lamp, and maybe in the fall, one of Jim's heaters.

, glad to;

I used it on my face when I had eye strain. On my eroded esophagus when it was

acting up; upand down my whole front, which resulted in marvelous relaxation,

which allowed me to sleep when I was too overtired (toxic, ie.)to relax and let

go. I think I treated an instance of indigestion, too.

Put it on my bladder, just to see, and it made me need to urinate.

It stopped joint/muscle pain in its tracks several times, including a knee that

got scarily inflamed.

I am looking forward to treating my thyroid and thymus.

I have learned from using it. I can now better distinguish muscle from joint

pain. I feel like it taught me to remeber what feeling good in your body feels

like-esp a relaxed body.

And it makes me conceive of symptoms as all being the same, at base; an

obstruction of circulation, a coldness of sorts.

The naturopath that lent it to me first used it for a deadly toothache. Twenty

mins treatment, the problem was gone, and never returned, he said.

This list is intended for patients to share personal experiences with each

other, not to give medical advice. If you are interested in any treatment

discussed here, please consult your doctor.

Adrienne, reading about so many benefits is fascinating. I agree that

the basic underlying problem is that the production and circulation of

fluids are blocked. Penetrating heat can help.

Is the lamp that you used the same as the one shown on the site that I

listed in my first message on this topic? Just curious as to whether

the one on that site has the same strength as the one that helped you

so much. Sandy

the cyc site has many models, but I believe we are speaking of the same one. It

is their cheapest floor model.
