Guest guest
Dr. Cordas in Hurst TX (near Ft. Worth) is using a patented protocol that naturally balances and increases neurotransmitters in the brain using amino acids and precursors. This protocol has been tried on 250 FM patients, with no reported failures. It is also said to be effective for depression and migraines, and a modified form is used for weight management. Dr. Cordas may have promoted this as a CFS/FM protocol, but he often lumps the two into one category; something I find shortsighted. Anecdotal evidence from two CFS patients who tried this protocol reported that it made them feel worse, and they stopped treatment. It may be very effective in FM, possibly migraine and depression, and possibly some, but not all CFS patients. Our Jan '04 issue of our newsletter contains an article that Cordas wrote, though no specific details of the protocol are included, since it's patented. It should be available eventually on our website as a pdf download. www.virtualhometown.com/dfwcfids Dr. Cordas' site is www.scordas.salu.net Info from/about Dr. Hinz is on www.neuroreplete.com Take care.
