Guest guest
Dear Jessie: The other day I was in a restaurant with my 17 year old daughter....we were having a nice time and then this old lady in a wheel chair, who was sitting with 3 other people, spilled her drink on the table and you could tell she felt so terrible....everyone was so sweet to her.....I burst into tears! My 17 year old thought I was funny and she giggled at me....I was laughing and crying at the same time....I felt so silly....but some things just make me cry...I decided it's okay to cry....that's one thing I've learned on this treatment....Crying isn't necessarily something you're supposed to stop yourself from doing.....we've feeling weak, vulnerable, sensitive to our own and other peoples' feelings, and mayabe, just maybe, we're learning compassion....it's okay to feel sad.....I always feel much better after a good cry! Take care, Diane

Guest guest
Maureen & , has been on Risperdal for a week now, after having an allergic reaction to prozac about 2 months ago. I was scared to death to give this to him, but his Neurologist eased my anxiety and skeptically I did give this to him. My husband cried the other night over the change in our little boy. The aggressiveness seems to be gone. He plays with the puppy like a normal child instead of strangling it. He has calmed down and responds to us the first time. My husband can't wait to go shopping with him (which usually ends up in the past with our not speaking to each other and sent to bed so we won't kill him). I'm even losing my panic over sending him back to school. He has the same personality, but on a much calmer level. I'm trying not to get too excited, but it is such a relief to maybe have an easier life back. I sure hope this keeps up.

Thanks for the encouragemant though, much appreciated. Suzy From: DIANSA@... Reply-Hepatitis Conelist Hepatitis Conelist Subject: Re: Digest Number 63 Date: Mon, 13 Mar 2000 23:34:46 EST Dear Suzy: Hang in there! The appetite will probably get better after the first month....It did for me....I'm just finishing 5 months of combo now....Have lost 17 pounds and never had one day of nausea! I make sure I have a smoothie with soy protein powder in it every day (almost!) and then at least I've had something good....I try to make what I do eat nourishing...reasonably so, anyway.....not a fanatic, but when you're not eating a lot, you want what you do eat to count.... It will get better! I promise! diane ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
Guest guest
Suzy, I read your e-mail about the not having craving for sugar. All I want is sugar mostly ice cream, pudding anything cold. I have always had a sweet tooth. Not like I have know. I have never been a good eater. Don't like veggies fruit is ok. I just hope this sweet tooth goes away. Guest guest
Jessie, Isn't it strange how everyone is different? I am just amazed how so many people can react totally different ways to the same tx. Actually when I went on a diet and started eating a little better a couple years ago, my sweet tooth diminished also, so maybe it has to do with my diet. since I am usually not real hungary then I try to eat a little healthier, i am like you never have liked to eat a whole lot of veg but like fruit, do try to eat some because I know i should but prob not every day. Take Care ZSuzy ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

God bless your DH and his tears of joy - what a wonderful moment! I pray my will do as well on Risperdal. The docs started on .25 mg of it three nights ago in the hospital. She's home now and is supposed to begin a morning dose of .25 mg. on Monday. Does take it twice a day also? Thanks for sharing. Guest guest
Hi Maureen, only takes Risperdal once a day (1mg) at bedtime and that seems to do it. He sleeps great, so much more peacefully. He's also staying dry until morning and is very proud of himself for that. We are too!!!!

What a nice improvement! Glad to hear things are going so well. is sleeping better since being on .25 mg. Risperdol at bedtime for the past ten days. This is a big improvement for her, particularly since she is in a hip spica cast and has to sleep on her back. (She is used to sleeping on her stomach, all curled up.) She also has been expressing herself better - articulating her wants and needs somewhat better. We're happy to see these improvements. Guest guest
Maureen, I'm glad to hear 's doing better. It's gotta be so hard for all of you. I know I couldn't sleep on my back. At least the Risperdal makes you sleepy. It's great hearing about 's speech improving. caught his first fish camping this weekend. He was so shocked and when Dad told him he could eat it for dinner if he liked, that he'd cook it for him on the barbeque, replied, " NO EAT MY FISH " and threw it back in the lake bucket and all. We laughed until we cried... That was one of his longest sentences spontaneusly.

Guest guest
, If you are still looking for stability ball workouts, try Target. They have Voights Butt Leggs, Tummy (I don't have this one....yet), they have a Sansone video, one by Kathy smith and I think a few others. But to be honest, I put stability ball workouts in the love 'em or hate 'em category. Most of the ones I own are either way too easy or require way too much coordination and balance for me ( I only work out on the ball on occassion) So look on e-bay for them cheap so you wont be disappointed. Also if you have any thrift store near you, check them out once in a while, I've found a ton of newer videos for only a dollar or two there. In fact thats where I bought most of my Crunch and Yoga Zone videos. a -- _______________________________________________ Find what you are looking for with the Lycos Yellow Pages http://r.lycos.com/r/yp_emailfooter/http://yellowpages.lycos.com/default.asp?SRC\ =lycos10
