Butyrate is used for neurotoxins, a fatty acid I think. See google.com for more info when Internet explorer opens for you. Al

You wont find a body building whey that is similar to ImmunePro, due to the special manufacturing techniques employed for that product. You will find, however, that there is a lot of Pure, Low Temperature Cross Flow Micro-filtered Whey Protein Isolate, exactly the same as Immuneplex, available as a body building product for a far cheaper price. Here is an Australian website (www.colostrum.com.au) that sells the Whey Isolate in Australia. I purchased a Whey Isolate called 'Body Science Whey Protein Isolate' in Australia, that had the amino acid breakdown listed on the side of the tub. About a year ago I posted on this list a comparison of the amino acid contents, if you can find the message in the archives it might help. Anyway the breakdown on the label was identical to the Immuneplex. A 3kg tub cost me $130 AUS, which is very cheap. Second to the antibiotics, this has helped me more than anything. I spoke to one of the owners of a company that sells Whey Isolate in Australia and he explained to me that almost all of the Whey Isolate currently available is manufactured in New Zealand, and then exported all around the world. So it is very likely that the majority of the Isolates going around are identical. Best Wishes, .
Guest guest
I have bought ImmunoPro and Transfer Factor Plus. Both were very expensive, and I was not able to tolerate either. They just tore my stomach UP. I still have quite a bit of each one left. I'd like to try some cheap, bulk, dried whey, because of the sodium, but it isn't available locally, so I'd have to order it online. I haven't done it yet because of my past experience w/the ImmunoPro and TFP. It's one of those things that I plan to do when I think I might be able to tolerate it. Meanwhile, I'll stick w/the celery and other foods that provide natural sodium, for now. Carolyne > Al, > What's the difference between the body building whey proteins and immune > system types? Guest guest
Hi Carolyne. When whey proteins were a new treatment for CFIDS, it was well known that you had to ramp up your dosage to avoid tolerance problems. We discussed at length staring with doses as small as 1/8 teaspoon and slowly (from week to week) building up from there. If you couldn't tolerate the increase, it was back to the lower dose for another week. ImmunePro was the hardest for most people to tolerate. This factor in taking whey proteins is no longer discussed, but it may be your problem. Tom > > Al, > > What's the difference between the body building whey proteins and > immune > > system types? Guest guest
Hi Carolyne. Tom is correct. The old topic of whey dose should be looked at as TOLERABLE dose. If your dose tore-up your stomach then it's not your tolerable dose. It's your intolerable dose , signified by your quitting. Some extremely ill people use a wet toothpick as their tolerable immunepro whey dose. Healthy people have no reaction at all. http://www.geocities.com/GuaiWhey/whey.htm > Hi Carolyne. > > When whey proteins were a new treatment for CFIDS, it was well known > that you had to ramp up your dosage to avoid tolerance problems. Guest guest
Hi Sue, I think that www.azurefarm. com has one of the best prices on the net. You may want to order some raw sunflower seeds and rose hip there too. If you do have access to local sources you can probably save shipping costs by buying local. Guest guest
I order ProFlora sweet dairy way from the following web site: http://www.jayrobb.com/profpurdairw.html I have also gotten sweet dairy whey from vitaminshoppe.com, but they sell the Bernard Jenson brand, which doesn't mix well in water, and doesn't have as much sodium. The container is smaller than the ProFlora sweet dairy whey, but weighs the same, but I don't think it goes as far. And while the ProFlora whey has done wonders for my IBS, the Bernard Jenson brand didn't do a thing for me. The ProFlora whey mixes instantly in water or milk, and doesn't have as strong of a cheap powdered milk taste as the Bernard Jenson brand. (I mix in psyllium and my probiotics with it, and anything else I need to take that can be taken with those things.) ProFlora is also sold through it's maker's, at http://thewholewhey.com/, but you can't order it online from them. You have to order it either through mail, fax, or phone orders if you order it direct from them. But their web site does feature information about it. Now, if I could only find an undenatured whey that has all the benefits of ImmunePro RX for building glutithione levels, that mixes as easily as the ProFlora sweet dairy whey! lindaj@... Guest guest
Undenatured whey proteins provide the amino acids that the body needs to build glutathione. The block to glutathione production, IMO, is low ATP. Sweet dairy whey and other foods will much less expensively provide the needed amino acids for the body to build glutathione. None of the people that have gotten better following the FIR program supplemented with whey protein. The fact that they got better suggests that glutathione levels must have increased. Guest guest
I couldn't tolerate immune pro, either. Some people just can't tolerate it. > > Hi Carolyne. > > > > When whey proteins were a new treatment for CFIDS, it was well > known > > that you had to ramp up your dosage to avoid tolerance problems. > We > > discussed at length staring with doses as small as 1/8 teaspoon and > > slowly (from week to week) building up from there.
