Guest guest
I found following and thought you might be interested. a.. Rhodiola rosea. It is an adaptogen herb - in other words, it helps the body to be more adaptive, so that it is less rocked by stress. It also has an anti-depressant effect without the numbing which accompanies drug anti-depressants. With rhodiola, I was actually quite euphoric at times, in part because my sleep normalised and I was able to feel a bit more refreshed. It has many effects, including anti-cancer properties, improvement of stamina and normalisation in imbalanced hormonal systems. Be warned though, a tolerance builds up over time, so I suggest either using it for a few weeks then stopping for a week or so, or using it only during weekdays and going without at weekends. Rhodiola mustn't be taken if you are on cortico-steroids as it will 'normalise' your body and reduce their effect. full article http://www.cary.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/help/ptsd/ptsd.html
