Guest guest
HI Everyone, I got back my lab results and I am low in serum carnitine. Unfortunately my insurance will not pay for Carnitor does anyone know whats a good dose and a good place to get it? The brand NOW sells a bottle with 180 capsules of 500mg each. I don't know how reputable the brand is. I also want to try CoQ10. I read that the best type is called Q- Gel the least expensive price I saw it for was from NEEDS, the Nutri- needs brand. They also sell the original from the company. It is supposed to be three times stronger then the regular CoQ10. Thanks, Yaakov > Hi, Christie, > > >I am starting CO-Q10 working up to 700mg and carnitor working up to 990mg. > >Added to this will be B Vitimins, alpha lipoic acid, selenium, vit C to > >prevent as much free radical damage as possible. Guest guest
I read somewhere the " NOW " brand is the only brand that Balch author of the " nutritional Healing " book recommends. I've used their Vit c and bromelain and they worked fine. Guest guest
Yakov, The cheapest place I have found carnitine is from Beyond a Century in Powdered form. It is not at all bad tasting, just a little sour. They also have Q10 cheap in powdered form, which I tried and can't recommend as I think absorbability is a real issue. I have since switched to a high priced gel cap and noticed a differece immeadiately at the same dose. Guest guest
Hi everyone, Thanks Matt and Phil for responding. I did a massive web search and heres what I found: The best price for L-carnitine that I found is Allergy research brand at 250 tablets of 500mg each. It sells for 36 dollars at iherb.com The best price for Q-gel (www.qgel.com) is www.epic4health.com they usually ship only 6 bottles at a time, but first time customers can order just one bottle. They also sell a lipoic acid that is hydrosoluble which I ordered. I plan to order from both places but I have never done so until now so I can't vouch for them. Take care, Yaakov > > > Hi, Christie, > > > > > > >I am starting CO-Q10 working up to 700mg and carnitor working up > > to 990mg. > > > >Added to this will be B Vitimins, alpha lipoic acid, selenium, > vit > > C to > > > >prevent as much free radical damage as possible.
