Guest guest
I have been using Aricept for a couple of months and find that it works for me. It has markedly improved my short term memory, increased my capacity to remain focused, allowing a bit more complexity into my thinking and writing, and has generally sharpened me up mentally. While I think it is a drug well worth trying, I don't feel it is the complete answer for my cognitive difficulties, some of which may simply be due to weakness and fatigue. I suppose I could increase the dose from 5mg. to 10 and see what happens. But my hunch is that the cognitive problems are due to something that can't be remedied simply by increasing the amount of choline sloshing about in my brain. I might also add that apart from a bit food craving at the outset, it has been a very easy drug to take. Penny
