If you enter the word " meetup(s) " in the search field, there were about 30

entried that could be found, some being the same thread.

 

Sandy wrote in a more recent post naming some of the people she metup with.

Another post going back to 2006 included:

attending meetups and we enjoy hearing other stories achalasia and

non-achalasia related. its been a blast. All of them are great!

 

It appears that there is no easy answer to your question as to finding people

since these posts are old. Some met in LA also.

 

I would suggest that you post a message, using the name of the largest city

(SF) that is near you asking for people if they want to get together.

 

For instance: in the subject area:          " SAN FRANCISCO MEETUP

BEING PLANNED "   followed by some details.

 

Unfortunately, there has not been a meetup that has been posted to this Board in

years. But, having one is long overdue.  So try!
