I know it can be hard for those that love us. I told my wife not to worry. I was in no danger. Don't you worry either. There are problems to deal with in this and they are a pain but you can deal with them. Don't worry about that. The two of you will sort it out together with some help. > I live for her and do everything i can to make life easy for her > I have learned to listen a lot and take it in from Lorrain You are lucky too. You have ears that can hear (don't take that literally, though in the context of an esophagus that can't swallow it could be temping). > I feel so lucky that Lorrain is now opening up a bit as denial and not accepting the condition has brought her down so much > Today feels like a new start for Lorrain and i hope it florishes for her I hope so too. Try not to get too far ahead of her. It took me six years of thinking about getting treatment before I gave in and had the surgery. In the meantime there may be a void that food and food related events have left in your lives. Be sure to find other things to enjoy together. There is much more to life than achalasia and the things it make difficult. notan
